Our congratulations to Marshfield Clinic Health Systems for receiving America’s Job Honors Award in a packed house at the Monona Terrace in Madison this afternoon. Nominated by our very own Mary Blanchard, Marshfield Clinic received this award for their continued work with the Project SEARCH program and for hiring people with disabilities. Thanks, Mary, for all the work you put into this winning nomination, and for your tireless efforts in support of Project SEARCH interns and the Marshfield Clinic Health Systems staff.
Please take the time to watch the three minute video produced for the event this afternoon by following this link: https://vimeo.com/303114305.
America's Job Honor Awards is a nonprofit initiative designed to help disadvantaged citizens enter the workforce. They host annual awards ceremonies celebrating individuals who have overcome significant barriers to employment and the employers who hire them.
The awards are presented before audiences of business leaders, with the primary goal of inspiring employers to adopt inclusive hiring practices. After experiencing their videos (and better yet, their live awards ceremonies), employers are motivated to give fair consideration to applicants with criminal convictions, disabilities, or other barriers to employment.
Congrats, Marshfield Clinic Health Systems… and thank you, Mary Blanchard!
