Freezing for a Reason
2018 Project SEARCH Polar Plunge Team

Following in the footsteps of previous Wisconsin Rapids Project SEARCH classes, this year’s interns - and some very crazy ODC, Aspirus and school district staff - braved the icy Wisconsin River waters for a good cause. Joining the interns and our Project SEARCH partner agencies to support Special Olympics was Jordan Markley, a 2016 Project SEARCH graduate who continues to enjoy “plunging” with the group each year.

This adventurous group of interns will graduate from Project SEARCH in the spring, after having completed classroom work and a rotation of internships within at least three Aspirus Hospital and Clinics departments. They’ll be ready for the world of work… but will they be fearless enough to join Jordan and a new group of interns at the Polar Plunge next year?

Congratulations, Project SEARCH Polar Plungers!
