We can’t think of a better way to learn and practice skills than in the company of horses! Josh, Nathan, Chris and Duane are doing just that every Tuesday at Jeremiah’s Crossing, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing equine-assisted activities specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. There, they learn the ins and outs of grooming and other tasks associated with animal care.
ODC’s community work readiness training gives individuals the opportunity to explore their job interests and take steps toward community employment. Perhaps a career caring for animals is in someone’s future?
