Practice, practice, practice!

No, it wasn’t “speed dating”… it was “speed interviewing”, and our Wisconsin Rapids Project SEARCH interns came away with some great feedback on interviewing for an employment position! Members of the Project SEARCH Business Advisory Council, made up of local businessmen and women, held an “interviewing workshop” at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, our Project SEARCH host business. Each student had three minutes with one council member before moving on to the next. Whew!

The goal of the Business Council is to help Project SEARCH interns get connected to the business community before they graduate. Interns gain additional skills, learn more about the expectations of being an employee, and get help in identifying potential job opportunities.

As you can see from the photo, everyone survived this marathon interviewing session! Good work, everyone!
