Status: Part-time
Responsible for working with individuals to support them to obtain independent community living. This position will mentor and build relationships with individuals to assist them to connect to their communities and live more independently.

High school diploma or equivalent. At least two (2) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a mentor/teaching position that assists individuals in learning skills and providing them independently. Individual demonstrates experience and understanding of community resources and methods of teaching independent living skills. A valid driver’s license with good driving record and insured vehicle available for daily use. This position requires annual background checks.

Ability to demonstrate, train and/or model job tasks/duties/responsibilites.
Ability to perform qulity inspection according to ODC's and/or customer's requirements.
Mobility to access various locations within/outside ODC facilities.
Physical ability to lift or transfer adults when providing personal care.
Physical ability to provide and/or respond to behavior intervention.
Lifting 25-35 lbs frequently - up to 60 lbs occasionally.
