Celebrating Personal Achievement
2018 Wis. Rapids Area Personal Achievement Award Nominees

11/15/2018 10:11Author Jennifer Blum

While everyone at ODC celebrates individual successes, both large and small, on a daily basis and in many ways throughout the year, we know that the Personal Achievement Award is a bit different… a very significant honor.

Every person that was nominated for the Wisconsin Rapids area award this year deserves recognition as having “stood out” among the rest for many reasons:

  • Their personal growth in both work and life, despite any barriers that needed to be overcome.
  • Their contributions to the business or organization in which they work.
  • Their positive, strong work ethic.
  • Their “good citizenship” qualities, shown in the workplace and the community.

Our nominees included:

  • David Akey, who is a Project SEARCH graduate. He is employed at Therapies Plus and is a student at Mid-State Technical College.
  • Anthony “AJ” Berdan, who is developing his work skills at ODC, and is participating in a temporary work experience at Faith Baptist Church – moving toward community employment!
  • Tabitha “Tabby” Reetz, who works in the busy kitchen at Jennings & Co.
  • Jeff Schoonover. Who was recently hired at McDonalds – yay, Jeff!
  • Betsy Suemnicht, who has been employed at Baker Street Church for almost a year!
  • Ambreeza “Bree” Vetrone, who is also employed at Jennings & Co…. which was, by the way, ODC’s 2017 employer of the year, for good reason!

All of us at ODC couldn’t be prouder to know these nominees, and to have been a part of their achievements. We wish them the very best in all that you do.
