Let’s Celebrate!
2019 Celebration of Achievement

In the past, ODC has hosted an awards dinner each year to honor those who support our mission: to empower people with disabilities to achieve their work and life goals. This year, we hosted three events that we’re now calling our Celebrations of Achievement! Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield and Stevens Point area staff, program participants and other supporters gathered for dinner and dancing, and to presented the following awards: a Champion of the Year Award, which recognizes an individual who shares ODC’s vision of an inclusive community by advocating for people with disabilities; a Partnership Award, given to an organization that partners with ODC to provide education and training opportunities for people with disabilities; an Employer of the Year Award, honoring a business or organization that chooses to “hire ability”; and a Personal Achievement Award, recognizing a person with a disability who has demonstrated outstanding personal achievement in their workplace and community.

Congratulations to all of our 2019 recipients… we are honored to be a part of your lives!
