PART-TIME POSITION BUILDING TO FULL-TIMEResponsible for providing the necessary support, training and personal assistance needed for individuals in ODC's Community Connect program to volunteer or connecting with their community. Clients may have multiple needs including but not limited to: cognitive, mental health, physical, medical, learning, and behavioral disabilities. Assistance may be one to one with individuals with significant disabilities and/or may be multiple interactions addressing the needs of multiple individuals with special needs. This position is considered a security point for individuals with special needs in ODC programs and for other employees. This position will provide intervention to prevent injury to clients with special needs, other program participants and/or ODC employees.

High School graduate. One (1) year of experience working with persons with disabilities or in a nursing or home health care position. Can be as a volunteer or familiar experience. Two (2) years of work experience. This position requires pre-employment medical screening and annual background checks. This position may be subject to “fit for duty” evaluations.
